China diplomat urges 'flexibility' in nuclear talks with North Korea

Nations involved in long-stalled international talks on North Korea's nuclear weapons program need to exercise "flexibility" in trying to resume the six-party talks, a senior Chinese diplomat said Thursday, despite no signs from Pyongyang of abandoning its nuclear ambitions.
Chinese Assistant Foreign Minister Liu Jianchao also reaffirmed that the six-party process, despite its six-year hiatus, is the "most realistic and effective measure" to address the goal of denuclearizing North Korea
