The New Suez Canal is a great project of the great Egyptian people, Ecuadorian Ambassador to Egypt German Espinoza said.
Egypt is always able to surprise the world with its great achievements, he added.
The New Suez Canal is Egypt's gift to the world and is an evidence of the unity that could be achieved by the Egyptian people when they need to achieve a goal under a strong leadership, he said.
Espinoza called on world companies to invest New Suez Canal area which is expected to be a new major trade, technology and industrial hub.
And now Latin American countries, for example, would have more opportunities to export their products to Egypt and the Gulf region, he noted.
