Improving peasants' conditions 'crucial' part of government programme
Egyptian PM Ibrahim Mahlab

Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab affirmed that improving peasants' conditions are crucial part of the government's program for social justice.
Upper Egypt is among the top priority of the government's economic and development plans, Mahlab added during his meeting Sunday with a number of board members of the general assembly of sugar cane's producers.
The farmers' representatives submitted a memo which includes several demands related to them.
Mahlab, meanwhile, issued directives to look into their demands in order to take the appropriate decisions.
