Egypt's government is keen to amend all economic regulations and laws to set the stage to attract businessmen, said Minister of Industry Mounir Fakhry Abdel Nour on Wednesday.

Abdel Nour said that an initiative to reform the business climate is meant to review all regulations and laws on investment in Egypt.

He cited a workshop that was held under the initiative on Tuesday to discuss and review these laws.

The gathering was attended by a number of university professors, senior judges, lawyers and a raft of representatives of government authorities, he noted.
