Secretary General Abdel Azizi al-Mekhlafi
Berlin - Arab Today

Egypt is taking confident steps toward modernity through its establishment of the new administrative capital, said secretary general of the German-Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce Abdel Azizi el Mekhlafi.

The chamber will organize an international conference on the future of cities on May 20, he added in exclusive statements to MENA.

The population growth in the Arab countries and the world imposes new challenges in the planning of cities and the services that should be offered to citizens, he said.

He voiced confidence about the future of economy in Egypt.
