Abdel Fattah al-Sisi
Cairo - Arab Today

The Egyptian people are on the right economic track and Egypt has restored its position, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi said on Sunday.
"Although our production rate does not keep pace with the increasing population growth, we are proceeding well," Sisi told a gathering at the Galaa Theater in Cairo in the presence of the ministers of interior and defense along with top brass of the Armed Forces.
Azhar Sheikh Ahmed el Tayeb and and Coptic Orthodox Pope Tawadros II were present as well.
Sisi added that he looks forward to reaching a 7 percent production rate in the coming period to meet the increasingly-growing population ratio, which hits 2.5 to 2.6 percent a year.
Sisi called upon the mass media outlets to spread awareness about the issue of population growth in the Egyptian society during the coming period.
He underlined that 280 billion pounds are needed to finalize the one-million-feddan project.
