Internet licenses to be available nationwide in first quarter of 2016

Communications Minister Yasser el Qadi said that internet licenses will be allowed in the governorates nationwide during the first quarter of 2016.
In statements during a celebration held by Cairo ICT organizing company, Qadi said 2016 will also witness offering the third and fourth generations of mobile frequencies.
He added that the communications sector would witness a significant development in several axes, including internet performance.
The celebration was also attended by Local Development Minister Ahmed Zaki Badr and Planning Minister Ashraf el Araby.
