His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa directed the security bodies to deal firmly with attempts to undermine national security and unity. He called for zero tolerance against violators and lawbreakers who attempt to tamper with national unity.

HRH the Premier was speaking as he received at Gudaibiya Palace today Interior Minister Lieutenant General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa and senior security officials from the Interior Ministry. He was presented with a briefing on the procedures taken during Ashoora commemoration season. He was also presented with a security report by the Interior Minister on violations committed during Ashoora rituals.

HRH the Prime Minister underlined religious freedom in the auspicious era of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the unlimited royal support to ensure success of religious events. He affirmed that exploiting religious occasions by some people to commit despicable acts will be handled by force of the law. He paid tribute to Bahraini citizens for rejecting and denouncing such practices, calling to show those social stances from every rostrum. "There must be no silence or ambiguity when tampering with the nation or encroaching on its supreme values," he said.
