Yemeni president salutes armed and security forces

President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi on Friday valued highly the sacrifices made by the armed and security forces to foil a number of terrorist plots targeting the country's security and stability.In his cable to the officers and soldiers of the 4th region command in Aden province, Hadi hailed the high level of readiness and vigilance they have showed as confronting bravely the recent terrorist attack on the command's headquarters.Last Wednesday, a terrorist group detonated an explosives-laden car at the gate of the command's headquarters and fired on the troops in an attempt to storm into the headquarters.The military and security forces managed to thwart the attempt, killing ten attackers.Six soldiers were killed, and six others were injured in the attack, that also caused the death of a citizen and wounding five others.
