Yemeni president receives phone call from Hamas political bureau head

Yemeni President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi received a telephone call today from Khaled Meshaal, head of the political bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas).
     During the phone call, they discussed the latest developments on the local and Arab arenas.
    The Yemeni president reaffirmed his country's firm position on supporting the Palestinian cause, the right of Palestinian people to self-determination and the establishment of a Palestinian state on their national soil with Jerusalem as its capital.
    For his part, Meshaal commended the "peace and national partnership agreement" signed by the various political forces in Yemen, hoping for the full implementation of the agreement as a road map to achieve peace and partnership in Yemen.
