
Yemeni President Abd-Rabbu Mansour Hadi issued on Tuesday a presidential decree assigning Dr. Ahmad Awad bin Mubarak to forme a new government.
According to Yemen news agency (SANA), the decree mandates bin Mubarak with the forming of new government based on peace and national partnership agreement signed on September 21st, after Houthi rebels seized control of the capital.
Bin Mubarak was born in 1968 in Aden governorate. He holds a doctorate in business administration from Baghdad University.
Last position Bin Mubarak held was a Director of the presidential office.
Bin Mubarak served between 18 January 2013 and 25 January 2014 as a secretary general of the National Dialogue Conference (NDC), comprising representatives of all political parties and civic groups which Hadi had convened to map out reforms.
