Yemeni cabinet
Sanaa - KUNA

The Yemeni cabinet called on the legislators on Monday to speed up the passing of the amended anti-terrorism law.
During its emergency meeting, chaired by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Telecommunication and Information Technology Ahmad Ubayd Bin Dagher, the cabinet highlighted the need the new law in order to deter the terrorist groups.
The cabinet reiterated the call for the Houthi militants to pull out fully from Imran Governorate, north Sanaa, and yield the government buildings to the local authorities pursuant to the last month agreement, according to a statement by the government.
The cabinet meeting was dedicated to discussing the security situation and the terrorist activities in the wake of the attack by Al-Qaeda militants which claimed 14 soldiers of the first military area early this week.
The statement affirmed the resolve of the government and its security services to track down the terrorist elements and bring them to justice for the crimes they committed against "the Islamic faith, homeland humanity."
