
A clash between Yemeni security forces and Al Qaeda armed rebels led to the death of four on Friday. Yemeni security forces released a statement to the press today saying that two Yemeni officers were killed, as well as two armed rebels. The clash took place when Yemeni security forces stormed a house that belonged to a group of Al Qaeda members.The Yemeni security forces succeeded in confiscating a car, communication devices, weapons as well as documents related to Al Qaeda members, the statement said. Yemeni security officials revealed that the documents showed that Al Qaeda members were planning on conducting terrorist attacks targeting the Yemeni army.
