
Foreign Minister Jamal al-Salal met on Sunday with his Egyptian counterpart Sameh Shoukry, on the sidelines of the General Assembly of the United Nations in New York.
The two ministers discussed the bilateral relations and areas of cooperation between the two brotherly countries and ways of enhancing them.
The meeting touched on the latest developments in Yemen in the light of the peace and national partnership agreement signed by the political parties.
Al-Salal praised the role of Egypt and its constant positions in support of Yemen.
For his part, the Egyptian minister reiterated his country's support for President Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi's efforts to complete the political process and the implementation of the national dialogue conference's outcomes.
