
Yemeni Coast Guards Forces, Gulf of Aden sector, have arrested two ships with 87 Somalis onboard in the Yemeni regional waters to the east of Maymoon Island.
Director general of the Yemeni Cost Guards Forces of the Gulf of Aden colonel Mohammed Al-Shaqfa said to Saba that security marine boats stopped two ships when they were about to drop the passengers off in order to infiltrate into the Yemeni lands.
He made clear that the two ships had been arrested and the people who were onboard of them were handed over to the UNHCR office in Mocha in order to return them to their country as per the signed agreements between Yemen and the UNHCR.
