
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in cooperation with the Ministry of Works, began the implementation of a construction project for the Kingdom of Bahrain's Embassy new building in Abu Dhabi, in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
The new building comprises the Ambassador's residence, a reception hall, conference hall, waiting lounge, offices, a majlis and other facilities. The project is located in the Diplomatic Area in the UAE's capital, Abu Dhabi. The project is scheduled to be completed by November 2015.
The project's construction agreement has recently been signed with construction company in the UAE. The implementation takes place in 16 months. The building will be equipped and furnished before its inauguration in January 2016.
The two-storey embassy building occupies an estimated 7500 square metres.
