Supply and Internal Trade Minister Khaled Hanafy
Cairo - Arab Today

Supply and Internal Trade Minister Khaled Hanafy said Tuesday the "Welcome Ramadan" initiative affirms that the State cares for details of the Egyptian citizens' life.

The Egyptian families in all governorates have the right to get goods available in the capital and major cities at affordable prices without any discrimination, the minister said in a press conference.

The government does not operate in isolated islands, but all bodies, along with the private sector, cooperate to make citizens' life easier, he added.

We were able to open dozens of outlets to cover the high demand on commodities during the holy month of Ramadan nationwide, Hanafy said.

Citizens will be able to use points saved from the bread and supply systems to buy commodities that will be provided in "Welcome Ramadan" exhibitions, he added.

These exhibitions are just the beginning, as the government plans to organize similar exhibitions nationwide in all Egyptians' special occasions, the minister said.

Hanafy announced that consumer complexes nationwide are currently providing large quantities of meat, chicken, fish, rice, sugar, oils, vegetables, legumes and fruits at affordable prices.
