UAQ Ruler returns after attending OIC summit

H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Rashid Al Mu'alla, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Umm al-Qaiwain, returned to the country today after heading the UAE's delegation, as a representative to President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to the 13th summit of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), held in Istanbul.

Upon his arrival at the Sharjah International Airport, Sheikh Saud was received by H.H. Sheikh Rashid bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mu'alla, Crown Prince of Umm al-Qaiwain, Sheikh Ahmed bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mu'alla, Deputy Chairman of Umm al-Qaiwain Executive Council, Sheikhs and senior officials.

The delegation accompanying Sheikh Saud included Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Rashid Al Mu'alla, Chairman of the Rashid bin Ahmed Al Mu'alla Holy Quran and Islamic Culture Award; Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs; Nasser Saeed Al Talai, Director of Umm al-Qaiwain Amiri Court; Mohammed Saeed Al Dhaheri, UAE's Permanent Representative to the OIC; and Rashid Mohammed Al Ali, Director of Protocol at the Umm al-Qaiwain Amiri Court.

Sheikh Saud left Istanbul earlier today and was seen off at the airport by Mustafa Elitas, Turkish Minister of Economy, Khalifa Abdul Rahman Al Marzouqi, UAE Consul General in Istanbul, members of the consulate and Turkish officials.
