UAE's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has advised its citizens on Sunday not to travel to Yemen due to the unstable security situation in the country.
"The warning comes as part of the UAE's keenness on the safety of UAE citizens abroad, UAE news agency (WAM) quoted the Ministry as saying in a statement.
The Ministry urged the citizens to strictly abide by the travel advice and called on those living in Yemen to adopt the necessary precaution for their own safety.
"UAE citizens travelling abroad were also advised to enroll in the Tawajdi (my whereabouts) online service program and to read the travel advice page at the ministry's website," the statement added.
