Dubai - QNA

Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has ordered the release of 554 prisoners, of whom 93 are nationals, from various penal institutions in the Dubai emirate as a benevolent gesture to mark the holy month Ramadan, State run news agency WAM reported Wednesday. Attorney General of the Emirate of Dubai Councilor Essam Al Humaidan said that the gesture aims at allowing the released prisoners an opportunity to engage in social life, to correct their path and start a new page in life as righteous members of the society, doing good to their families and the community at large.
