UAE participates in Arab Social Affairs Ministerial Council meeting
Abu Dhabi - Arab Today
Hessa Essa Buhumaid, Minister of Community Development, headed the UAE delegation in the 37th meeting of the Arab Social Affairs Ministerial Council, which began in Kuwait on Sunday.
The Council's session will see discussions on various issues, including its draft resolutions and a report on the elderly in the Arab region.
High on the meeting's agenda are preparations for the 4th Arab Summit for Economic and Social Development to be held in 2019, as well as the progress in implementing the Sustainable Development Goals 2030.
