UAE participates in AHLC and ACD meetings in New York

Dr. Anwar bin Mohammed Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, participated yesterday in the Ad Hoc Liaison Committee for Assistance to Palestinians, AHLC, which was held as part of the 69th Session of the UN General Assembly.
The meeting was chaired by the Norwegian Foreign Minister, Borg Brindh, with the attendance of Ban Ki-moon, Secretary-General of the UN, John Kerry, the U.S. Secretary of State, Palestinian Prime Minister, Rami Hamdallah, Dr. Shukri Bishara, the Palestinian Minister of Finance and Planning, along with Ministers of donor countries and the Quartet Representative, Tony Blair.
The AHLC seeks to promote dialogue between donors, the Palestinian Authority and the Government of Israel.
Dr. Gargash also participated yesterday in the Ministerial Preparatory Meeting of the of the Asia Cooperation Dialogue, chaired by Saud bin Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia.
