The UAE continues to support
Aden - Arab Today

The UAE continues to support the people of Yemen in all areas, as part of the directives and wise leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to stand by their allies in times of distress.

The UAE today offered further support to Aden Police by providing them with several vehicles, to strengthen their efforts to provide security and peace in the city.

During the handover of the vehicles, with the attendance of Major General Shalal Shaei, Director of the Aden Police, Adnan Al Kaf, Under-Secretary of the Governorate of Aden, highlighted the solid partnership between the UAE and Yemen, which is clearly reflected in the former’s continued support to restore services facilities in the liberated governorates of the country. He added that the people of Aden value this generous support while expressing their appreciation to the UAE’s leadership, government and people.

Major General Shaei stressed that the local security authorities are continuing to combat terrorism and eliminate the gangs that undermine security. He added that the UAE’s support has contributed to achieving many of their successes, establishing security and stability in Aden.

The UAE has offered hundreds of vehicles of various types to the Aden Police after its liberation and has worked on restoring police stations in its various directorates.
