UAE Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan on Thursday denounced a bomb car explosion that happened near his country's embassy in Tripoli earlier today.
A car bomb reportedly went off outside the UAE embassy in the Libyan capital, causing no casualties but some damage to the building.
The UAE foreign minister held armed and militant groups in Libya responsible for this "terrorist" bombing, the Emirate News Agency (WAM) reported.
"This terrorist explosion requires everybody to work decisively and swiftly to eradicate such terrorist and criminal practices that are condemned by the international society," he said.
However, the minister reiterated his country's support for all ongoing efforts to back the Libyan parliament and government.
