UAE and Jordan discuss enhancing scientific cooperation

Dr. Adel Tweissi, Jordanian Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, has discussed with Matar Saif Al-Shamsi, UAE Ambassador to Jordan, means of boosting cooperation between the two countries in the fields of higher education and scientific research.
During the meeting at the ministry headquarters, the parties also discussed exchanging experiences and educational competences, as well as reviewing student scholarship issues.
Dr. Tweissi stressed the deep relations and scientific cooperation between the UAE and Jordan, which reflect, he said, the wise directives of the leadership of the two brotherly countries.
Al-Shamsi stressed the UAE's keenness to enhance relations between the two countries at all levels. He expressed the state's admiration for the advanced level reached by Jordanian universities and educational institutes, and the great care and facilities provided by officials and university departments to all UAE students in Jordan.
