Tunisian president meets Qatari ambassador

Tunisian President Mohamed Al-Munsif Al-Marzouqi met Friday with Qatari Ambassador in Tunisia HE Saad bin Nasser Al-Humaidi, who ended his term of duty. Al Marzouki presented the Qatari Ambassador with the Medal of the Republic of Tunisia of the first class, in appreciation of his contributions in consolidating bilateral relations during his tenure in Tunisia. The Tunisian President praised the role the State of Qatar played in supporting Tunisia, particularly after the January 14 revolution. He also praised Qatar's keenness to make transitional period in the Arab Maghreb country a successful one. Al Marzouqi wished the Qatari ambassador all success on his future duties and expressed hope of more prosperous relations between both countries.
