Tunis - Qna

Tunisia's Prime Minister Hamadi Al Jebali called for taking a clear position against the Syrian regime, calling on the UN Security Council to review the mechanism of veto. Al Jebali, who is participating in the forty Eighth Annual Conference on Security in Munich, Germany, stressed the need for expelling the ambassadors and breaking off relations with the Syrian regime as well as the international recognition of the representatives of the Syrian Revolution. He said in this context "State sovereignty must be respected, but when crimes are committed against humanity, international efforts must be concerted to liberate the oppressed peoples and uphold the values of justice and democracy."
