Tunisian Prime Minister Youssef Chahed said all terrorists returning from abroad will be immediately arrested and tried according to the country’s counter-terrorism law.
In press statements, Chahed confirmed that Tunisia did not sign any deal on the return of terrorists, stressing that the government is against the return from areas of tension.
He added that Tunisia has a list of terrorists who will be arrested immediately upon arrival in Tunisia.
The Tunisian presidency announced that President Beji Caid Essebsi discussed with Chahed the State's strategy for combating terrorism.
Chahed noted that this file does not concern Tunisia alone. The issue, however, concerns several world countries, including European countries.
