Tunisia's Foreign Minister Rafik Abdel-Salam has described the Tunisia- Qatar ties as "excellent and distinguished." Speaking to reports a press conference here on Friday, the Tunisian Foreign Minister said that Qatar supports our economy by providing the State Treasury with $ 500 million in addition to supporting joint ventures in social and tourism sector and other areas of cooperation. The Tunisian Minister stressed his country's keenness on enhancing relations with all countries including Maghreb, Arab, Mediterranean and African countries . He also stressed Tunisia's participation in the Arab summit slated in Baghdad by end of March, adding that consultations are underway between the two countries to determine the level of participation.
