Tunis - Xinhua

The 41 members of the new Tunisian government led by Prime Minister Hamadi Jebali took oath before the country's president, Moncef Marzouki, the state-run press agency TAP reported Saturday. The new government passed a vote on confidence on Friday before the Constituent Assembly with a majority of 154 votes. "It is time to get to work. Long live Tunisia," Marzouki said in an address he gave on the occasion. The new government's main priority is to create jobs in a context marked by economic crisis, rampant unemployment and negative growth. Marzouki warned protesters on Friday that laws would be applied against those who hampered the country's economy.
