Transportation Ministry, Bahrain University sign agreement.
Manama - Arab Today
Transportation and Telecommunications Ministry Undersecretary for Civil Aviation Affairs Mohammed Thamer Al-Kaabi signed a memorandum of Understanding with the University of Bahrain (UoB) President Dr. Riyadh Youssef Hamza.
The agreement is in line with the directives of the Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications Kamel bin Ahmed Mohammed to strengthen cooperation and encourage research institutions.
The two sides have also agreed to step up cooperation in the academic, scientific, research and training sectors and support the UoB graduates’ projects.
Under the agreement, the two sides commit to participate in each other’s’ scientific functions, exchange scientific publications, periodicals, work programmes, technologies and educational means.
The undersecretary stressed the importance of the agreement in supporting scientific and academic programmes to achieve the interests of all parties and hone the skills of youth for the labour market.
