MP Marwan Fares expressed his support to the Ministry of Information's contractual employees, who staged a sit-in outside the House of Parliament in demand for their right to full-time jobs with old age pension benefits and Social Security Fund services.
"The state should grant MoI employees their rights, especially that they don't cost the state anything," the lawmaker said.
Moreover, National News Agency Director, Laure Sleiman Saab, told Fares that MoI employees worked legally within the ministry. "They should be granted their rights," she stressed.
