The clashes between Israeli forces and Palestinian citizens
Jerusalem - PNN

The clashes between Israeli forces and Palestinian citizens, and protest demonstrations quickly escalated since Wednesday's Israeli attack of the building of the Aqsa mosque compound, and Ibrahim Akkari's run over, who was immediately shot in Jerusalem.
Clashes in Jerusalem and the West Bank have been successive, after Akkari's funeral in Jerusalem, which Israeli occupation allowed only 35 members of his family to attend.
The funeral limitation aggravated the clashes all over Jerusalem neighborhoods, where two Palestinian citizens were injured by Israeli bullets and one Israeli border guard was injured of stone throwing in Shu'fat refugee camp south occupied Jerusalem.
Clashes took place in Issawiya, Hizma and Al-Toor neighborhoods south Jerusalem, where Palestinians utilized fireworks and stones to defend themselves.
No Israeli settlers were injured during clashes, but vehicles were hit by stones, and damaged.
Israeli military by dawn today, has imprisoned about 16 Palestinians from Jerusalem consequent to the clashes, whereas the number of prisoners hit 188 in the past two weeks alone.
Israeli police to Haaretz: We can only repress the clashes by force
Israeli police told Haaretz today that it will not be able to halt the clashes, and the Palestinian uprise, unless by using force. Police official said that the main reason for the clashes was the Israeli attacks on Al-Aqsa mosque, fearing that the aggravating situation was no longer controllable.
The security assessment was presented to Netanyahu, made him 'shocked', and as a result he ordered police, military and security to conduct more pressure on Palestinian families, by using force to halt the clashes.
Israeli occupation police officials demanded Netanyahu to stop the extremist MK's attacks on Al-Aqsa mosque, which escalate the rage of Palestinians.
In exchange, Netanyahu put the blame on Abbas, saying that he was the "driver of the vehicle of death", and "spread lies about Israeli continuous violations."
Netanyahu also called Palestinians "extremists" who set Jerusalem on fire, and added that he will deal with them only by force.
