FSA sends forces to help Kurdish fighters in Kobane
Amman - KUNA

The Revolutionary Military Council in Aleppo, an affiliate of the opposition Free Syrian Army, on Friday denied sending forces to fight the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) in Ain Al-Arab (Kobane) near the Turkish borders.
No troops, nor any other reinforcements have been sent to Kobane, Brigadir Zaher Al-Saket, head of the council, said in a statement distributed by the Syrian opposition.
Al-Saket stressed that they are confined to Aleppo and its countryside, in northern Syria, where heavy fighting is raging these days with the regime forces and allied militants.
The statement noted that such reports were promoted by people "who have nothing to do with the Revolutionary Military Council in Aleppo." It referred to another statement by Colonel Abdul Jabbar Al-Oqaidi, a senior commander in the Free Syrian Army, on Thursday that a force of more than 1,000 fighters had been formed from various revolutionary groups to move and fight ISIL in Kobane.
In the meantime, Five revolutionary groups said today they are sending reinforcements to fight ISIL in Kobane, in Aleppo countryside.
Meanwhile, senior Syrian Kurdish official sources denied, in statements to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, reports about coordination with any party to allow FSA fighters to enter into Kobane to help Kurdish fighters.
In the meantime, heavy fighting rages in Kobane Friday between ISIL and the Kurdish People's Protection Units.
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said in a statement that a strong explosion hit the southern part of the town.
It also announced that ten ISIL fighters were killed Friday in an ambush by the People's Protection Units in the eastern part of the town and three ISIL vehicles were destroyed in the attack.
The monitoring group, based in London, noted that ISIL is still brining more militants to Ain Al-Arab from other provinces the insurgent group controls after heavy losses due to the air strikes by the international coalition or the fighting with the Kurdish units.
