The Secretary General of the National Coalition of Syrian Revolution and Opposition Forces Nasr Al-Hariri announced Saturday that the coalition will take part in the 142nd Arab Foreign Ministers meeting, to be held Sunday at Arab League HQs in Cairo.
The President of the National Coalition Hadi Al-Bahra is to speak at the League's ministerial meeting, presided by Mauritania, Al-Hariri told reporters following his meeting with League's Secretary General Nabil Al-Araby.
He unveiled that he discussed with Al-Araby recent developments in Syria, in addition to the UN Security Council (UNSC) Resolution (2171) on conflict prevention and outcome of NATO summit in Wales on Friday.
On taking the Syria seat at the Arab League, Al-Hariri said that the coalition did not take Syria's seat at the pan-Arab organization as it has no recognized government or a foreign ministry.
He also said that Al-Araby informed the coalition that it is entitled to participate at League's meetings and not to take a seat according to Kuwait summit's resolution.
