Speaker of the People’s Assembly, Mohammad Jihad al-Laham, stressed on Sunday that national reconciliations are the best way to “heal the homeland’s wounds” through generalizing them to wider areas.
The Speaker’s comments came during a session of the People’s Assembly.
For his part, Prime Minister, Wael al-Halaqi, highlighted the importance of containing all national and political powers as building the homeland is the responsibility of all Syrians and the project of reconstructing Syria should be launched within an integrated developmental and national program.
The prime minister said, “We have basic tasks in the current stage topped by countering terrorism everywhere in Syria and securing the requirements of the army to enhance the protection of the homeland and taking care of the martyrs’ families to reach security and stability and accomplish national reconciliations.”
