The government is tuned in to the situation of citizens and the martyrs’ families whose needs are being closely followed for their suffering to be alleviated and improving their living conditions, said Interior Minister Mohammad al-Shaar.
The minister was speaking in al-Hurra village in al-Ghab area, Hama province, which was the scene of terrorist attack last Friday in which scores were killed and injured.
He played down the intended effects of terrorist attacks on the morale of Syrian citizens who have dealt a blow to the enemies’ schemes and, he added, “continue to work hand in hand until security and stability would prevail again.”
Muslim and Christian figures in the province who met the minister spoke highly of the national unity that sets the Syrian people apart, calling for further enhancing ties among the countrymen as being the most efficient weapon against terrorism.
