Supply Minister: Gov't extends ration card update till July 15

Prime Minister Sherif Ismail agreed on extending the ration card beneficiaries database update till July 15, said Supply and Internal Trade Minister Ali Moselhi.
The deadline for updating the ration cards was on June 30.
Speaking at a press conference at the Cabinet headquarters on Monday, Moselhi said that he reviewed with the prime minister the successful update of 11.5 out of 19 million ration cards.
He further underlined the updating process in Alexandria and Marsa Matrouh governorates started lately.
The meeting also took up preparations for Eidul Fitr and means of following up the availability of basic commodities in markets, the minister added.
