Sudanese President Omar Hassan Al-Bashir on Sunday vowed to implement requirements of the Doha Document for Peace in Darfur (DDPD) by establishing a road map for the peace process in present and future.
Addressing a crowd of people in Zalingei, capital of Central Darfur, Al-Bashir affirmed that the coming period will witness high security and extensive plans in Darfur for complementing the comprehensive, just and lasting peace programme.
He said that Darfur is entering a stage of social peace and it gives top priority to programs of voluntary return of displaced persons and refugees in order to provide them with all means of stability.
Al-Bashir called on Darfur citizens to provide the necessary aid to meet the needs of displaced persons and exert efforts to integrate them into the society.
