
The Minister of Animal Resources and Fisheries Dr. Faisal Hassan Ibrahim has affirmed that his ministry concern with the development of nomadic communities to increase production and productivity of livestock.
This came when he met with the Wali (governor) of Western Kordofan State Maj. Ahmed Khamis who reviewed with him the development of agricultural projects and improvement of livestock sector in the state.
Dr. Ibrahim called for intensification of efforts in technical action to develop pastures to achieve self-sufficiency. They also discussed ways to provide necessary requirements to enhance water and veterinary services. He added that an agreement with Saudis was signed to renovate final quarantine to facilitate the flow of export of livestock to Saudi Arabia.
