Sudanese minister of defence receives Qatari chief of staff

The Minister of Defence, Lt. Gen. Abdul-Rahim Mohamed Hussein, received Sunday at the Minister of Defence the visiting Chief of Staff of the Qatari Armed Forces, Maj. Gen. Ghanim bin Shahain, and the accompanying delegation, in presence of the Director of the International Relations Department.
The meeting discussed the cooperation between the Sudanese4 and Qatari Armed Forces and ways of consolidating them.
In a press statement following the meeting, the Qatari Chief of Staff said that he is visiting Sudan on the invitation of his Sudanese counterpart, indicating that his visit comes in the context of the continuous cooperation between Sudan and Qatar.
He wished more progress for the Sudanese Armed Forces.
