
The First Vice President of the Republic, Lt Gen Bakri Hassan Salih, will address the inaugural sitting of the 6th Conference of Expatriates ion August 19 at the Friendship Hal in Khartoum.
In press statements to SUNA, the Deputy Secretary General of the Sudanese Expatriates Organ, the Chairman of Conference Technical Committee Dr. Karam Allah Ali Abdul-Rahman said that all arrangements have been completed for the beginning of the conference which comes under the motto of:" Expatriates are the Ambassadors of the Homeland and Builders of Renaissance",, with participation of 500 from homeland and abroad.
He said that the conference will discuss 13 working papers and that the first sitting is assigned to discuss the previous decisions and what have been achieved, while the second sitting will discuss two papers on the Expatriates Organ vision to simplify the expatriates procedures, where the first will be presented by the Secretary General of the Sudanese Expatriates Organ Haj Majid Sowar and the second by the Deputy Secretary General of the Sudanese Expatriates Organ.
A joint sitting will be held on the next day to discuss the economic and social changes that have occurred to expatriates and the immigration and its affects and the international relations in the Social, Economic and Social Aspects to be presented by Dr. Abdul-Majid Yassin from Saudi Arabia , a paper on identity and the final repatriation to be presented by the Head of the Sudanese Community in Qatar Dr. Omer AL-Asam and other on communities and their problems to be presented by the Secretary General of Sudanese Communities.
