Sudan Foreign Minister Ali Karti will chair his country's delegation during the 142 session of Arab League (AL) council's meetings, due to be held in Cairo on Sunday.
The Arab League meetings will tackle many political, economic, and legal issues, Sudan's permanent ambassador to Arab League Abdel Mahmoud Abdel Halim said Saturday.
Abdel Halim said the meeting would discuss the latest developments in Middle East, especially in Palestine, Libya, Iraq, Syria, and Yemen.
He added the AL's meetings would endorse two decisions on peace and developments in Sudan, along with US sanctions against Sudan.
Karti is expected to hold meetings with his Arab counterparts on the sidelines of the meetings, Abdel Halim said.
