US authorities have banned electronic devices such as laptops, tablets, cameras, DVD players and electronic games from cabin baggage, which they can be shipped with luggage, an official source in the Department of Consular Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Thursday.
Mobile phones and medical devices are permitted, the source added. The source pointed out that all Qatari citizens traveling to the United States of America who have these devices must ship them in their luggage in order to avoid any consequences at airports.
