State keen to achieve comprehensive, sustainable development

Awqaf Minister Mohamed Mokhtar Gomaa asserted the keenness of the state and President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to achieve comprehensive and sustainable development in all the border governorates, including the New Valley governorate, and carry out developmental projects.
Remarks were made during Gomaa's visit on Sunday of the New Valley governorate accompanied by its governor Mohamed el Zamalout to inaugurate four mosques and some developmental projects.
Gomaa lauded the efforts of the governor to make the governorate attractive for investments and developmental projects.
Gomaa asserted the ministry's keenness to activate women's role in preaching in the different governorates, including the New Valley.
Gomaa said the ministry inked a protocol with the Health Ministry to raise the awareness of women on female-related issues including birth control.
On the other hand, the New Valley governor lauded the efforts of Awqaf Ministry to renew religious discourse.
