
The roundtable meeting of the delegations negotiating the participation in the next government and its program of work began on Friday evening.
An informed source told the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / that the meeting was held in the presence of designated Prime Minister Haider Abadi and leaders of political blocs, without specifying the place of the meeting.
A source in the National Alliance, said yesterday: "The meeting will discuss the new government program, and in the event of approval of the program, attendees will sign it and are filing copies of the document of the agreement in the Federal Court and other parties / not mentioned / to ensure its implementation.
The source noted that the meeting's agenda does not include discussion of the distribution of ministerial portfolios or naming ministers.
