Ambassadors of the 10 sponsor countries of the Gulf initiative this evening welcomed the formation of Yemeni government announced by President Abdo Rabbu Mansour Hadi.
"The formation is an important step toward meeting aspirations of Yemeni people through a government of competencies which will be able to face economic, political and security challenges," ambassadors said in a press statement.
They stressed their readiness to provide full support to the new government, the statement noted, indicating that they look forward to working with the new government.
It noted that they are confident that the new ministers will do their best in the upcoming days to carry out the Peace and National Partnership Agreement and outcomes of national dialogue as well as the Gulf initiative.
All these are documents that provide an important opportunity to build a prosperous, unified and democratic state to serve nationals.
