Southern Governor holds meeting

Southern Governor His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al-Khalifa stressed the importance of joint work in serving citizens. This came as he held a meeting with Southern Police director-general Brigadier Mubarak bin Huweil Al-Merri and Southern Municipality director-general Asim bin Abdullatif Abdulla. He hailed their role in consolidating partnership between regions and dedicated efforts to ensure the success of all plans and events.

He gave directives to launch awareness campaigns which focus on fires, traffic accidents, the wildlife and cleanliness during the camping season, stressing the need to conduct field visits and engage the media, as well as government and private schools and companies.
Southern Police director-general Brigadier Mubarak bin Huweil Al-Merry and Southern Municipality director-general Asim bin Abdullatif Abdulla hailed the directives of HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al-Khalifa to promote joint work.
They hailed the initiatives he had launched, since his appointment, in all fields, which, they said, contributed to strengthening cooperation and promoting communication with citizens and government departments.
