President Abdel Fattah El Sisi met Sunday with Algerian Foreign Minister Ramtane Lamamra at the presidential palace in Heliopolis.
During the meeting, Lamamra delivered Sisi a message from Algerian President Abdelaziz Bouteflika.
"The message tackled ways of developing bilateral relations in all fields and forming a joint committee in October at the level of prime ministers," presidential spokesman Ihab Badawi said.
The situation in Libya, Gaza, Iraq and Syria was discussed as well, according to the spokesman.
