
On behalf of Shura Council Chairman Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh, Shura Secretary-General Abduljalil Ibrahim Al-Tareef has received the Arabian Eagle Award presented by Tatweej Academy and Arab Organization for Social Responsibility to Arab pioneers in leadership and public administration.
The award was presented at a major celebration held in Dubai under the patronage of Secretary General of the Office of the UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Major General Nasser bin Salim Saif Al-Nuaimi. A number of officials, Arab personalities, representatives from government and private companies and media figures and journalists attended the event.
The Shura Chairman extended appreciation of Tatweej Academy and Arab Organization for Social Responsibility, saying the award reflects Arab institutions' recognition of Bahrain's achievements at the human development level during the prosperous era of HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the efforts of the government led by HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and the support of HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister.
He pointed out the Bahraini aptitudes in various work and production areas, who are a source of pride, who have been trained and rehabilitated in accordance with the government's programmes aim to build a strong economy.
He attached great significance to Bahrain's approach to develop the human resources and upgrading citizens in various aspects of life, including educational, health and cultural sides.
He noted the regional and international acknowledgment of Bahrain's successes attained thanks to the wise royal leadership and the active contributions of citizens. He pledged to continue to work with determination and sincerity to enhance Bahrain's standing in international forums.
